What we collect

We do not operate user accounts, newsletters or advertising trackers. The ride note tool on our contact page runs only in your browser; its content is not transmitted to us. If you email us, we receive your email address, name if given, and the content of your message.

Our hosting provider may process technical data such as IP addresses and request logs for security and to deliver pages. These logs are retained for a limited period by the host.

Why and on what basis

We use emails you send to reply, to correct or improve our guides, and to keep a record of correspondence. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and maintaining accurate content, under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Retention

We keep correspondence for up to 24 months, after which it is deleted unless needed for an ongoing matter.

Sharing
